Bill’s background of playing sports taught him that playing fast (knowing what to do and being confident) usually produced success. But when you play scared (nervous, unsure of your assignments and lacking confidence), you usually produce less than desirable results.
Scripture Parenting was created to help parents see the importance of knowing and intentionally using Scripture as the key foundation to their actions. Bill has seen firsthand how knowing Scripture and trusting God’s promises has greatly helped him as a father.
Scripture Parenting is based around Philippians 3:17, “Join together in following my example brothers and sisters and, just as you have us as a model, keep your eyes on those who live as we do.”
It’s our goal at Scripture Parenting to provide a platform for Christian parents to keep their eyes on those who parent with the purpose of glorifying Christ. We want this platform to encourage and embolden parents to make scripture a daily focus in their life of parenting.
